Three raccoons (Procyon lotor) were captured in southeastern Ontario, Canada, examined, and their gastrointestinal tracts were evaluated. Gross anatomic findings included the following: 1) stomach contained three prominent ventral folds; 2) mucosa was rough and pale pink in color; 3) the entire intestinal tract contained numerous parasites; 4) cross-section of the small intestine was 90% to 95% of the total small intestinal length; 5) contents of the large intestine were collected in an acidified solution; 6) most of the intestinal tract was of uniform grayish to pink color; 7) fecal samples were negative for Toxocara sp. ova and Schistosoma spp. eggs; 8) organisms cultured from the stomachs were Enterococcus sp., Staphylococcus sp., Clostridium perfringens, and Clostridium difficile; 9) organisms cultured from the small intestines were Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Streptococcus sp., and Enterococcus sp.; and 10) organisms cultured from the large intestines were Escherichia coli and Enterococcus sp. all that needs to be sent here is a PDF file. def upload_item(self, request): """ Handle the file upload form be359ba680
